Group's focus
National association of over 100 tramping, mountaineering, skiing, mountainbiking and hunting clubs. Objectives are to promote these activities, promote safe use of the backcountry, promote its preservation and sound management. FMC also works to protect rights of public access to the countryside. Quarterly magazine, the FMC Bulletin, contains news, views and information on current issues and activities. Website contains discussion papers and resources to assist member groups write submissions on issues of concern.
