Group's focus
To raise awareness of native freshwater fish, address widespread and continuing destruction of their habitats, work to conserve native fish biodiversity. Work with national and local government to advocate for protection. Practical work with restoration, landcare groups. Publishes journal 'Ichthyophile' 3 issues per year.
